1. Information We Collect– Account details (name, email or school-issued ID), app activity data (quizzes, videos, points), mood tracker entries, help requests, and technical data (device type, IP address). We do not collect unnecessary personal information.


2. How We Use Your Data – To provide and improve the App, personalise learning, notify safeguarding leads or parents if a help request is made, and create anonymised school reports.


3. Data Sharing – We may share your data with your school safeguarding lead, parents or guardians (with consent or for safeguarding), and service providers (bound by confidentiality). We will never sell your data.


4. Children’s Privacy – We comply with COPPA, GDPR, and Singapore PDPA. Parental or school consent is required for under-18s.


5. Data Storage & Security – All personal data is stored on encrypted servers with access limited to authorised staff.

EmpowerED is committed to safeguarding the privacy, safety, and dignity of all users, especially children and young people.


1. Legal Compliance – We comply with Singapore PDPA, UK & EU GDPR, and US COPPA.


2. Data Security Measures– End-to-end encryption, role-based access control, and regular security audits.


3. Safeguarding Features – Built-in help buttons link directly to designated safeguarding leads or parents. Requests are time-stamped and securely stored. In urgent cases, key details may be shared to protect the user.


4. Anonymisation & Reports – School reports are anonymised. Personal well-being data is shared only with consent or for safety.


5. Incident Response – Any breach is investigated immediately. If required, users and authorities will be informed within 72 hours.


6. Staff Training – All staff handling data receive annual training in child protection, data privacy, and secure record handling.
